Custom Portrait A5 and A4 Brochure Printing

ED-COLOR produces portrait multi-page brochures in closed A5 and A4 sizes in Chisinau. They suit restaurant menus and presentations, industrial and dental equipment catalogs, retail materials and food product catalogs. A multi-page brochure with a cover is different from a leaflet made from one folded sheet.

We agree on the closed portrait A5 or A4 size, page count, quantity, inside and cover paper, and lamination for each project. For a stapled brochure, folding is included in the printed-sheet rate and three metal staples along the fold add 2 MDL per finished brochure. For a thick block, thermal glue binding is available instead of staples at 30 MDL per copy, provided the block is at least 5 mm thick. Approximately 30–50 sheets may be needed; we check actual thickness for the chosen paper. Inside pages can use 80, 115, 150, 200 or 300 gsm paper; the cover can use 150, 200 or 300 gsm paper. Lamination is available separately for the inside sheets and the cover.

Rates for one A4 sheet with paper and double-sided printing: 80 gsm — 3 MDL, 115 gsm — 4 MDL, 150 gsm — 5 MDL, 200 gsm — 5.5 MDL, 300 gsm — 6 MDL. A3-sheet rates are double: 6, 8, 10, 11 and 12 MDL respectively. Lamination of each sheet, whether the cover or an inside sheet, adds 2.5 MDL for A4 or 5 MDL for A3. A closed A5 brochure uses A4 sheets; a closed A4 brochure uses A3 sheets. These are sheet rates, not the price of a finished brochure. Total order cost depends on page count, quantity and finish. Frequently asked questions

How does the page count become printed sheets?

For a stapled brochure, enter the finished page count including the cover: 8, 12, 16 and so on in multiples of four. One folded sheet creates four pages. The cover uses one sheet and accounts for four pages. For example, a 12-page brochure has eight inside pages on two sheets and four cover pages on one sheet — three printed sheets per copy. A closed A5 brochure uses A4 sheets; a closed A4 brochure uses A3 sheets. For thermal glue, a manager checks the sheet layout and block thickness.

Can I request a quote without artwork?

Yes. Select closed A5 or A4, the page count, materials, binding and quantity. The calculator displays the price and generates a commercial offer PDF even without artwork.

Which paper is used?

How is the price calculated?

Closed A4 uses A3 sheets at twice those rates. Lamination of the cover or each inside sheet adds 2.5 MDL per A4 sheet or 5 MDL per A3 sheet. Folding is included. Three staples add 2 MDL per brochure; alternative thermal binding for blocks at least 5 mm thick costs 30 MDL per brochure instead. When is thermal binding available?

When the printed block is at least 5 mm thick, approximately 30–50 sheets. We check the actual thickness and suitability using the chosen paper and artwork. It is an alternative to staples.

What is the production time?

We confirm it after the artwork, specifications and quantity are agreed.
